About the Data & Technology team
In this role, you will be part of the Data & Technology team at our client. An integral team responsible for retrieving, structuring, processing and analysing data. The team consists of developers, (smart building) consultants, product managers and product owners. The team connects real estate information, demographic data, building information, user feedback, stakeholders & services and adds intelligence to support these data-driven developments.

Job profile Data engineer
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines and architectures to collect, transform and store data from various sources. You will work with data analysts, (data scientists) and other IT professionals to ensure that the required data is collected and managed in an efficient and reliable manner. You are involved in the whole process from data entry to analysis and reporting. You are proactive, enjoy working together, learning from each other and sharing your findings. Not only with your team members, but also with your colleagues from the business and our clients.
Requirements
Duties and responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain and optimise data pipelines and architectures;
- Collect, transform and store data from various sources;
- Work with other IT professionals to ensure that data is collected and managed efficiently and reliably;
- Monitor and maintain data quality and integrity;
- Identify and resolve data pipeline issues;
- Document processes and procedures for managing data;
